Syllabus: | Understanding of theory and practice relating to network service and support, including backup strategies, tuning networks and servers, installation and configuration of network devices and network monitoring and security. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed critical thinking and problem solving skills in relation to computer networks. An understanding of computer networking concepts, technology and issues. The ability to analyse a situation and recommend a solution. |
