Syllabus:

Problem analysis, algorithm development, simple program design techniques, study of a contemporary programming language, use of a computer environment and appropriate system software.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have learnt problem solving techniques, to design and implement programs using a suitable programming language and will understand the need for and aspects of software quality.
