Syllabus: | Research project management, advanced literature searching, project reporting and evaluation. Research seminar series and group attendance and participation. Participation in a supervised research project and preliminary preparation for the submission of a dissertation. |

Unit Outcomes: | Plan, implement, manage and undertake preliminary evaluation of a research project in the field of nanotechnoloy. To understand and appreciate the potential impact of the widespread application of nanotechnology. Contribute and participate in collaborative research including enhancing teamwork and cooperative learning skills. Development of advanced literature research, scientific data analysis and oral reporting skills. Plan and prepare the groundwork for a substantial thesis in the field of nanotechnology. |
