Unit Outcomes: | The aim of this unit is to provide students with an understanding as to the nature and processes involved in trading securities on formalised exchanges. The nature of financial markets is reviewed to gain an appreciation of different market mechanisms involved. The ability to utilise a number of trading techniques (both technical and fundamental) will also be examined, along with reviews of market anomalies. Recent innovation and trends in global financial markets will also be discussed. |
