Syllabus:

Key concepts involved in writing for the screen, looking in particular spoken at dialogue, the use of screen narrative structures, movement and time.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will be familiar with and be able to use standard script layouts. Understand the basic elements of narrative and non-narrative script structures. Understand the difference between written and spoken dialogue. Have developed their ability to work in groups, where appropriate and manage and complete projects on time. Have completed each of the assignments associated with these projects. Have improved their skills in project preparation and presentation, including skills in planning, research, writing, accepting and acting on feedback.
