Syllabus:

A holistic approach to common health problems among indigenous children, women, men, young adults and the elderly will be taken. Treatments will include traditional and indigenous modalities and prevention of health conditions.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Explained the causes, diagnosis, clinical picture, complications, treatment of common health problems among children, women, men, young adults, the elderly and in general.

Unit Assessment Breakdown:

Objective and short answer tests, Case study(1), Report (Health restoration), Journal writing. Students must obtain a 50% grade in each assessment unit to achieve a Pass grade. This is by Pass/Fail Assessment.
