Syllabus: | Further clinical practice in dental hygienist procedures including patient assessment, preventive procedures and treatment procedures in accordance with relevant Acts. Practice management. Practical experience with patients with special needs. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Provided dental hygiene care for patients in accordance with relevant Acts. Presented, analysed and evaluated information in a clinical case study. Demonstrated effective communication with patients, members of the public and health professionals. Demonstrated the ability to practice in a professional manner. |
