Syllabus:

Proof techniques, countability, cardinality, groups, permutations, equivalence relations, cosets, homomorphisms and isomorphisms, number theory, cryptography, open and closed sets, sequences, ordered fields, uniform convergence, fixed Point Theorem, Hein-Borel theorem and Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem.
 

Unit Outcomes:

To introduce students to abstract algebra, number theory and mathematical analysis.
