Syllabus:

Theory and research in developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders providing a context for developing expertise in the assessment and management in people of different ages, cultures and experience.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Discuss, evaluate and apply theory and research in the diagnostic assessment of developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Discuss, evaluate and apply theory and research in intervention for developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Discuss, evaluate and apply theory and research in the clinical management of people of different ages, cultures and experience.
