Syllabus:

Simple floor, wall and roof construction systems - design development of these systems, steel and timber building materials, and relationships between a building and its site. Project-based exercises develop the selection and use of construction systemsin the design of small-scale buildings.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the role of Construction in the Design development process. Knowledge and understanding about building parts.
