Syllabus: | Selected examples of architecture and interior design will be used as case studies to illustrate the presence of ideas in built matter. A range of projects will be analysed and discussed in terms of the conceptual qualities that underpin the physical manifestations of architecture and interior design. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Begun to make connections between abstract theory and the resulting manifestations. Developed a method of recording ideas and facts in written and visual terms. |
