Syllabus:

Further develops language skills through the use of authentic material from the print and electronic media. Students are encouraged to explore current themes and express opinion on social issues relevant to contemporary Chinese society.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Developed skills necessary for handling Chinese textual material from the print and electronic media. Extracted information from speach and writings in Chinese and reproduce main points orally andin writing. Exchanged opinions in Chinese on social and cultural issues covered this semester. Prepared and delivered presentations on topics discussed during the semester.
