Syllabus:

Examines the information highway infrastructure and services. Internet tools and resources - electronic mail, FTP, telnet and World Wide Web. Electronic information sources, search and retrieval tools. Web page and web site design for a business. Electronic commerce principles.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Designed and developed a small web site for a business. Made use of Internet resources to search and retrieve information. Used web authoring software. Understood the principles of e-commerce.
