Syllabus: | Development of further knowledge and understanding of the requirements of narrative scriptwriting, exploring elements of character development, planning and writing treatments, scene breakdowns and bibles as well as writing and pitching for short dramas,series and other screen formats. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated a competence in writing a short screenplay drama. Demonstrated a competence in script editing skills. Contributed substantially and practically to the planning, research, pitching, writing, development and script editing of a script for a short film. Developed their ability to work in groups, where appropriate. Improved their ability to manage and complete projects on time. Completed each of the assignments associated with these projects. Improved their skills in project preparation and presentation, including skills in planning, research, writing, accepting and acting on feedback. Worked at a level consistent with graduate enrolment. |
