Syllabus: | Assisted comprehension of natural Korean in documentaries, news and soap opera broadcasts. Interview practice in Korean. Vocabulary range 3000 active words, Hanja 300. Not available to students whose first language is Korean. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Increased understanding of contemporary social and cultural characteristics of Korea on selected themes. Enhanced their understanding of complex grammatical structure used in newspaper articles.Engaged in expressing their opinions and views in demanding situations in both speaking and written formats. Developed listeninf skills on contemporary Korean television dramas. |
