Syllabus: | Introduction to a range of geochemical sampling methods and techniques for data analysis. A variety of survey methods, including stream sediment, soil, lithogeochemistry, biogeochemistry, gas and lag surveys will be introduced. Emphasis will be placed on the development of practical problem solving and data interpretation skills through tutorial sessions, practical assignments and case studies. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have the ability to interpret results from simple geochemical surveys, design and carry geochemical surveys. |
