Syllabus: | Introduction to general geology. Crystallography - the rock forming minerals, physics and chemistry of the Earth, plate tectonics and the geological cycle. Igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic petrology. Stratigraphy, geological time and maps. Structural geology. |
