Syllabus:Examination of the following aspects of technology - the legal environment, how organisations operate, legislation, litigation, incentives, controls, constraints, and public policy considerations. Impact of these on organisations, processes of influencing governments and different approaches in different jurisdictions. Applying these aspects to a selected technology.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Awareness of legal issues and public policy considerations involved in the introduction of new technology.
