Syllabus: | Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in using research to enhance evidence based practice. Practical skills covered include integrating research within clinical practice and using research evidence on treatment efficacy to allocation of health resources. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have demonstrated the capacity to collect research data using at least one data collection method and written an extensive literature review. Developed the skills required to write a Method section and a Result section of a research article. Demonstrated the ability to discuss the results of a variety of studies, identifying their limitations, implications and applications. Demonstrated the ability to explain and interpret data using at least one methodof data analysis. |
