Introduction
This course provides a qualification for people working in the mining industry who are interested in furthering their studies into the corporate and resources administration side of the mining industry
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be given to students who have completed a graduate certificate in corporate and resources administration. Recognition of prior learning may also be given to students who have previously studied in another postgraduate course in a recognised Australian tertiary institution or have an equivalent qualification, to a maximum of 50 credits.
Duration and Availability
The course is of two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Intermediate Awards
A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Corporate Resources and Administration may apply under exceptional circumstance provisions for graduation in that award, subject to approval of the Head of School/Department. Career Opportunities
Graduates generally find employment in the corporate and administrative departments of mining companies, and in state and federal government departments dealing with corporate resources.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study. A full list of expenses is available upon request or at enrolment.
