304163 v.3 Honours Urban and Regional Planning Stream


Introduction

The Honours stream in urban and regional planning has been structured to allow high achieving students from the third year of the Bachelor of Arts (Urban and Regional Planning) degree the opportunity to undertake a larger research project in association with professional course work requirements in their fourth year. The stream will appeal to students with an interest in pursuing further postgraduate studies (such as Masters or PhD) as well as those students that are keen to work in research areas within the urban and regional planning system. Entrance to this Honours stream is by invitation by the Board of Examiners and requires students to have achieved a semester weighted average of 70 per cent in Semesters 5 and 6 and a minimum 65 per cent in the third year unit - Planning Report 312.
