Syllabus:

Understanding the organisation, administration and management of the planning function for a development or regional authority, or local, State or Commonwealth government. The scope, preparation and management of a development scheme or a development project. Ethics and codes of professional conduct.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have been introduced to, reviewed and analysed the principles of organisation, administration and management in Western Australia and elsewhere. Students will have been introduced to, reviewed and analysed the influence of values, ethics and codes of conduct in Western Australia and elsewhere. Students will have been introduced to, reviewed and analysed the principles and practice of organisation, administration and management and the influence of values, ethics and codes of conduct on private, voluntary and public sector organisations, in planning, conservation and development.
