Introduction
This major is designed to provide the theoretical foundations and techniques of management, law, logistics purchasing and contract administration. Students study a range of issues applicable to strategic procurement including competitive conduct, strategy, logistics and management. Graduates are expected to obtain employment in both the public and private sectors. Public sector employers are State Supply Commission, Department of Contract and Management Services and local government authorities. Private sector employers include commercial organisations and mining companies.
