Syllabus:

The concepts acquired in the prerequisite units are applied to computer simulated exercises on strategy formulation and implementation in specific sectors. This application focus on business strategy requires an in-depth examination of (a) the underlying economic, financial, technological and special industrial characteristics which provide rationales for specific strategic typologies (eg co-operation vs competition, risk management) and (b) the structural and philosophical evolution of different industries.
