An understanding in the importance of organising ideas, and planning before writing - proof reading and the mechanics of writing. Development of individual writing skills and confidence in a variety of academic genres -descriptive, advantages and disadvantages, and cause and effect with in text referencing - working through the transition of thinking in their first language to thinking in English.
