Development of skills in retrieving, analysing, interpreting and communicating quantitative data. Introduction to statistics, selected topics including descriptive statistics and probability theory. The use of computers for finding, retrieving, analysingand presenting data, including library skills and use of electronic databases. Graphical and tabular presentation of data for written and oral communication. Team skills and conflict resolution.
