Examination of the significance of couple and family relationship dynamics for counselling. It critically considers systemic, existential, gender and cultural perspectives and how these relate to prominent family counselling theories and models such as -Ackerman, Bowen, Satir, structural and strategic therapies, Adlerian and Rogerian couple counselling, Adlerian cognitive-behavioural parent counselling and constructivist relationship counselling.
