Directed study and research. The underlying logic of land data systems organisation and operation. Topological modelling of LIS, database integrity, consistency constraints. Distributed land data systems, 3-D and temporal land databases. Architecture of very large systems. Advanced topics - languages of spatial relations, multiple representations, visualisation, spacetime statistical modelling. Selected case studies.
