Syllabus: A self-directed project unit in which students are required to establish a personal position with regard to their own practice. Studio practice will be considered within a global context. Students are expected to consolidate applied research skills and create a focused body of work that extends previous research investigations. Emphasis is on the creation of a professional body of work for exhibition. Outcomes may take the form of installation work, work for the body, costume, performance based work, textile portfolio, work suitable for interior architecture or furnishing.
