Introduction

This course enables students to extend their knowledge of current academic research methodology in the following major areas of study; Chemistry, Computer Science, Environment, Coastal and Marine Science and Agriculture, Geology, Geophysics, Geographic Information Systems, Mathematical Sciences and Physics This will be demonstrated through studying a specialised methodology unit, units in their specialised area and the conduct of a supervised research project and presentation of an honours dissertation

Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisite

Entrance into this course requires the completion of a relevant degree at the appropriate level. Refer to admission into Honours Degree Programs and Regulation for Honours Degrees in the Curtin University of Technology Handbook (General Information section).

Duration and Availability

This course is one year full-time study. Two intakes are offered each year in March and August. Prospective students should note that places may not always be available for the August intake.

Additional Course Expenses

Students are expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials. Students may require a laboratory coat.
