313610 v.1 Biosystems Engineering Stream (BEng)

Introduction

Biosystems Engineering is a broad engineering discipline that deals with bio-molecular and molecular processes, product design, sustainability and analysis of biological systems. The course structure is designed to cover both the engineering principles and the biological fundamentals that are essential to the development, design and operation of processes/plants for the extraction, conversion and recovery of materials, and of biological systems. Graduates taking this program are prepared to work in both traditional chemical engineering industry and the evolving biotech industry (including health industry).
