This conversion program is conducted for registered nurses with a diploma in nursing from Curtin University of Technology or Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore) intending to convert the diploma to an award degree.
Applicants for this course should also see advice for Clinical Health Science students (see page 36). STAT is not accepted for entry to this course.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Students undertaking this course will be awarded recognition of prior learning equivalent to three years based on previous study.
This course is of six months full-time or equivalent part-time study and is only available to students who have previously completed the Diploma of Applied Science (or equivalent) at Curtin or Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore) and who are registered as Registered Nurses in their home country.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
