Introduction
This course enables those with an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, or a related field to develop further expertise in Human Resource Management. It also equips those with some experience in industrial relations and or human resource management, or human resource development, to develop a strong professional specialisation in one of those fields.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelors degree in business, commerce or other appropriate field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or equivalent qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Course Organisation
A student who wishes to combine the study of both industrial relations and human resource management may do so by choosing the human resource management stream. Students are required to select one of the following streams in - Industrial Relations, HumanResource Management or Human Resource Development.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
