How to search for a unit

  1. Free Text Search

Type a word, part of a word, or a study package code into the text field and press the Search button. Use this to search for a specific subject or discipline keyword. Do not use apostrophes or quotation marks in your search text.

  2. Using an Advanced Search

Type a word in the text field, then limit the extent of the search by specifying a faculty, the part of the unit information in which to search, and even the details of the unit's availability. For example, you could search for any unit of study taught in the Faculty of Humanities where the word "Justice" appears in the Unit Description (but not the Title), and which is taught at Bentley in Semester 2 in Extension mode.

  3. Search by Faculty

Select a faculty from the menu and press Search to view a list of units associated with that faculty. The list is sorted numerically by Unit study package code.

  4. Search By Title

Click on a letter of the alphabet to view all units whose title begins with that letter.

  5. Search for Units linked to a specific course

By following the 'How to Search for a Course' procedure , you can search for units within a course structure. When a Course structure is displayed, you can click on each unit name to see details of the unit.
