Animal production systems that utilise grazing strategies. Factors influencing productivity in grazing animal systems of production. Grazing management options available, and the advantages and disadvantages of those options. The individual characteristics that influence production from pastoral, agricultural and rangeland regions. The application of the principles of applied reproduction, population genetics to the development of breeding programs for grazing animals. Development of animal production plans for grazing animals.
