Introduction

This double degree program provides graduates with a solid background in the principles and practices of computer science and business. It prepares students for a range of employment opportunities that require computing and technological skills, combinedwith a sound knowledge and professional expertise in the general business area.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

TEE Applicable Mathematics or Calculus. Strongly performing students without Calculus may be admitted and required to take a bridging program.

Specific Requirements

The STAT is not accepted for entry to this course.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Professional Recognition

Graduates from these programs meet the requirements for Professional Level accreditation of the Australian Computer Society and will be eligible for admission to the Australian Institute of Management.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
