Natural products - commercial and biological significance of naturally occurring compounds. Terpenoids, steroids, alkaloids and cannabinoids. Industrial use of enzymes. Stereochemistry and mechanisms including conformational analysis and stereo effects on reaction rates and equilibria. Laboratory work - advanced synthesis and analysis. |
