Syllabus:

Industrial ecology - origin and application for eco-industrial parks. Theory and practical application of industrial metabolism and substance flow analysis including ecological footprint analysis and material input analysis. Global sustainability models and roadmaps including natural step, natural capitalism. Role of technology and consumption for achieving sustainable development. Students are to attend a three hour lecture once every three weeks.
