Syllabus:

Examination of the nature of the changing world in which Australia and other countries in the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean Regions find themselves. The importance of perspectives and theories for shaping what we see and challenges in relation to issues such as regional security, 'vanishing borders', alliances and diplomacy. Regional transformation and critical appraisal in relation to the challenges of the 21st century.
