Syllabus: |
Introduction to groundwater, emphasizing geological controls on groundwater flow, quantitative methods of analyzing aquifer systems, groundwater exploration methods-surface and subsurface, groundwater drilling technologies-methods, economics, regional hydrogeology, water quality and pollution-physical and chemical processes governing the transport of solutes in groundwater, application of hydrogeologic and geochemical theory and practice to the protection of aquifers from contamination. |
