Students study those parts of the secondary level chemistry program which are essential for a sound basis in chemistry plus relevant portions of first year tertiary level chemistry. Basic concepts, mole concept, stoichiometry, volumetric analysis calculations, oxidation and reduction, chemical bonding, shapes of molecules, intermolecular forces, periodic trends, macromolecular structures, gases. |
