Syllabus: |
Concept of holistic health and primary health care. Principles and practice of primary health care within a context of indigenous ways of duty of care, accountability, ethics and law. History taking and assessment skills to determine the health status offamily members - elderly, adult and teenager. Strategies to assist families to be responsible for their own health, identify health issues and explore options for well being. Develop realistic goals for healthy living. Be self-directed in obtaining optimal health. |
