History and basic principles, including cell structure , cell cycle, tissue culture media, mitogens and miotic arrestants, cell synchronisation, sister chromatid exchange, late replicating x chromosomes, fragility stressing, chromosome stains, mitosis and meiosis. Translocations and inversions, numerical and structural alterations, sex chromosome alterations, haematological conditions and cytogenics, haemological malignancies, microscopy and image capture, microscope analysis and ISCN, laboratory safety and quality control. |
