Mental health assessment. Models of psychiatric nursing practice. Communication and therapeutic relationship. Crisis Intervention. Treatment modalities. Legal, ethical and consumer issues. Dysfunction related to mental illness. Community and family issues. Mental health rehabilitation. Ageing and psychiatric behaviours. Forensic nursing. Analysis of issues related to research and treatment.
