Syllabus:

Selected cultural traditions in Australian society and their continuities over time and space. Discourses of nation in relation to the myth of ANZAC, the mythology of outlaw hero/villain, Ned Kelly, the Azaria Chamberlain case, the invention of traditions and the significant contribution of folklore to the cultural construction of myth.
