Scope of remote sensing. Physical base of remote sensing. Satellite and airborne sensor systems. Image statistics, display, preprocessing. Rectification of digital Landsat imagery. Image enhancement, spectral and spatial filtering. Thematic information extraction, classification and acuracy assessment, change detection. Hyperspectral and radar sensors. Selecting a remote sensing system for application. |
