Syllabus:

Structure and function of the components of the bacterial cell. Immunology and Immunity. Virology - viral structure, replication of human viruses and bacteriophage. Significant properties, pathogenesis, role of immunological products in prophylaxis, therapy and diagnosis for a variety of bacterial, viral and fungal pathogens
