115530 v.3 Foundation Studies ProgramFoundStdsProg(Curtin) IntroductionThis program is designed to prepare international students to undertake university study at Curtin University. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesCompletion of high school with above average grades, particularly in mathematics. The minimum English language requirement is an IELTS (Academic) band of 5 in all four skill areas or above, or TOEFL of 520 or above. Successful completion of the course satisfies the requirement for entry to the University, but not for entry to any particular course. Duration and AvailabilityThis program is of two semesters full-time study, two intakes per year with limited Fast Track Options in February and July. Additional Course ExpensesStudents may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
