Syllabus: Introduction to international agricultural marketing and trade including the planning, implementation and control of international agribusiness activities. Topics include: international trade environments and trade policy, support agencies and trade enhancement programs, modes of market entry, product modification & adaptation, cross cultural issues, supply chain management, international marketing, international finance, international contracts and law. Examples will be used in trading commodities anddifferentiated products. An international market of the student's choice will be studied in greater depth.
