Syllabus: | Introduction to the theories and research pertaining to written and verbal communication skills required by psychologists in professional practice. These skills are applicable in industry, government and community settings. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of the basic skills required to communicate in the written and verbal form. An understanding of the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication in professional practice. A basic knowledge of how groups are formed and operate. An understanding of critical thinking skills. |
